Meet Ann Wieseler, MSN, APRN
“I believe in fostering a partnership with my patients to promote health and treat the whole person.”
Ann Wieseler is a board-certified family practice and acute-care nurse practitioner with experience in trauma and emergency medicine. During her clinical rotation at a local family practice facility, Ann developed a deep appreciation for integrative care and the importance of treating the whole person, not just physical symptoms. She loved building trusting relationships with her patients, which inspired her to join a practice that aligns with her values.
As a nurse practitioner at Element Primary Care, Ann independently diagnoses and treats various illnesses and injuries, focusing on promoting health and preventing disease using a holistic, patient-centered care model.
Ann is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree at Creighton University, focusing on integrating medicine into advanced nursing practice. Her scholarly project examines the impact of direct primary care and integrative care on emergency department visits and laboratory markers. By incorporating social and behavioral disciplines alongside integrative medicine, Ann strives to achieve optimal outcomes by treating the whole person.
