Strada’s Direct Primary Care (DPC) membership offers comprehensive, personalized healthcare for just $49/month for employees ($79/month for adult dependents, $49/month for kids), thanks to Physicians Mutual’s sponsorship. With DPC, you get unlimited in-person or virtual visits, an annual exam with labs, and follow-up care, all designed to build a strong, ongoing relationship with your provider. This membership focuses on keeping you healthy, preventing disease, and providing convenient, tailored care whenever you need it.
The on-site clinic, located in the main lobby of the Physicians Mutual home office, is designed for quick, convenient care for acute issues like colds, minor injuries, or prescription refills. It operates on limited hours (Tuesdays 12pm–4pm, Thursdays 8am–12pm) and is free for most employees, though those on a High Deductible Health Plan with an HSA pay a $50 visit fee. The clinic is ideal for immediate, one-off needs but doesn’t offer the comprehensive, ongoing care provided by a DPC membership.
The clinic is free for many employees. However, employees who are on the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with Health Savings Account (HSA) will need to pay a $50 office visit charge due to IRS regulations on first dollar coverage for HSA plans. This ensures that the tax-advantaged status of your HSA is maintained.
Employees who are on any other health plan without a HSA can use the clinic at zero cost.
Your Strada Direct Primary Care (DPC) membership provides comprehensive primary care, including:
Unlimited Visits: In-person or virtual appointments with your dedicated provider, with no copays or additional visit fees.
Annual Exam with Labs: A thorough yearly check-up, including standard lab work to monitor your health.
Follow-Up Care: Ongoing management of chronic conditions, follow-up visits, and preventive care to keep you healthy.
Personalized Care: A strong, direct relationship with your provider to address your unique health needs and prevent disease.

Any employee can enroll in DPC. In order to get the preferred pricing of $49/month, you must be enrolled in one of Physicians Mutual's insurance plans. If you are not enrolled in insurance, your DPC price would be $79/month.
All employees are able to use the on-site clinic regardless of their enrollment in Physicians Mutual's health insurance plan.
Employees who are on a High Deductible Health plan with an HSA will be charged a $50 office charge for each visit.
First Stop Health is a virtual healthcare service that Strada Healthcare partners with to provide 24/7 telehealth access for our groups. So if it is a Saturday morning and you think you have strep throat, you can call First Stop Health instead of visiting an urgent care or waiting until Tuesday to schedule a visit with Strada.
