Dr. Walter Wood, MD brings more than 20 years of experience across family medicine, emergency medicine, occupational health, and workers’ compensation. At Strada Healthcare, Dr. Wood provides patient care in our nearsite clinic while also leading our Med-Legal services, including independent medical evaluations and record reviews.
Board certified in both Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine, Dr. Wood is known for his thorough, thoughtful evaluations and balanced clinical judgment. He has cared for patients in a wide range of settings, including hospital emergency departments, occupational health clinics, and federal VA facilities, giving him a well-rounded perspective that serves both patients and employers.
Dr. Wood earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship training through the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is passionate about delivering practical, high-quality care while helping organizations navigate complex medical and legal questions with clarity and integrity.
