Omaha COVID-19 Antigen Testing

Strada Healthcare is now offering COVID-19 antigen testing to the Omaha community. We are using the BD Veritor system for Rapid Detection of Sars-CoV-2. Antigen tests are designed to detect proteins from the virus that causes COVID-19 in respiratory specimens. Antigen tests are very specific for the virus, but are not as sensitive as molecular tests. This means that a positive result is highly accurate, but a negative result does not rule out infection. This test is administered as a nasal swab.

Here are some things you should know about the test:

• The cost is $75.
• At this time, we are not accepting insurance.
• Results are made available in 15-20 minutes.
