Alyssa grew up in central Nebraska and was actively involved in sports. She knew she wanted to pursue the career of physical therapy after suffering a knee injury in high school and going through the rehabilitation process firsthand. Alyssa attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and graduated with a B.S. in Athletic Training in 2010. While there she had the opportunity to work with high level athletes in several programs including football, women’s volleyball and women’s gymnastics. She then attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center and graduated in 2013 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
Alyssa enjoys working with athletes of all ages and has experience working with pediatrics all the way to geriatrics. She has undergone additional coursework in manual therapy techniques and is certified to complete dry needling through Myopain Seminars. Her true desire is to help others flourish and get back to what they enjoy doing without limitation from pain, weakness or faulty mechanics.
In her spare time, Alyssa is an avid runner and enjoys gardening, cooking and keeping up with her husband and three children. Her faith and personal relationship with Jesus play a pivotal role in her life. If pain or mechanical issues are preventing you from living your best life, come see Alyssa for a personalized evaluation and treatment plan. Don’t settle for surviving when you were made to flourish!
