Dan is one of the founding partners of Lincoln Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation. He received his degree in 1976 at the Division of Physical Therapy Education at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha after attending UNL for pre-physical therapy. Dan has worked in varied settings including inpatient and outpatient acute hospital, long term care and multiple outpatient orthopedic offices. He has been a hand therapist since 1980 and certified since 1990, the first year the certification exam was offered. Dan was the first certified hand therapist (CHT) in the state and presently one of seven therapists in the state certified by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC). Dan is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), its Nebraska State (NPTA) and Eastern District Chapters, as well as the APTA’s special sections for hand rehabilitation, orthopedics and sports, and private practice. Dan is also a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT) and an affiliate member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH). He is married and a proud parent of three sons. His hobbies are anything with family and/or outdoors.
